New iPhone 11 all calls go straight to voicemail

Just activated my new iPhone 11 on Verizon. I have followed multiple troubleshooting tips like Do Not Disturb and Clock settings. I have no 3rd party apps to block calls.

texting works
FaceTime works
I can make outgoing calls
all incoming calls go straight to voicemail ( I had multiple friends try calling me to test)
- I do not get the voicemails (my friend was sitting next to me and we tested this multiple times)

Any suggestions?

Go to Settings/Phone. Is Silence Unknown Callers on? If it is all calls from numbers not in your contacts will go to voicemail. If this is not the problem contact your carrier.
