MacBook 2017 support for 4K

I have a MacBook (Retina, 12-inch, 2017) with an Intel HD Graphics 615 1536 MB. I connected it to a 4K monitor using the Apple USB-C converter and HDMI cable. Does the Macbook support 4K resolution?
