Is it fine to close the lid on my MacBook Pro with a keyboard cover?

I don’t want to damage my screen or anything

but if it does. Is it fine if I could use a screen protector to prevent any screen damages?

I only use a keyboard cover because I’m extremely scared about any Key damages or sticky keys

The MBPs are designed with an exact space between screen and keyboard. Any extra padding can cause damage to the hinge due to incorrect closing. The hinge could be stressed and break.

You should NOT use keyboard covers at all. You should avoid having sticky fingers and open liquid containers near the keyboard.
