AirPods - caller cannot hear me

my airpods work perfectly when playing music but when i am making a call i can hear but the person i call can not hear me!Also sometimes i hear a bip noise !Can anybody help because i just have bought it and i want to know if they are faulty so i will return them!

Regarding AirPods calling issue I am getting an issue regarding my AirPods. When I call somebody or get calls while using AirPods other person barely listens to my voice. Other than calling it has no issue and works seamlessly but in call it creates some noise. Neither i can listen to the person clearly nor they. What issue can be there? airpods sound problems My volume of the airpods seems really low even though the phone is turned all the way up. when taking calls i can hear the person but they cant always hear me
