Transfer calls from iPad to iPhone

After you place the call - How do you transfer from iPad to iPhone and vice versa?

To my knowledge, this isn’t natively possible.

Continuity features allow you to receive or initiate calls on any devices signed-in to both iCloud and the relevant service with the same AppleID - but transfer of an established call between devices is not supported.

If transfer calls is not possible -- it should be in Apple Documentation. https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT209456
I believe it was previously possible, but was not reliable so perhaps Apple silently removed this capability to transfer from iphone to ipad.

I certainly recall seeing a call transfer function in times long past, but I certainly don’t recall finding it in more recent versions.

I don’t currently have access to any devices with versions preceding iOS 12.4.5.
