Facebook and IPad

When I type on Facebook autocorrect is keeping the typo I made and then adding the correction. It is also double spacing things. A minor but annoying issue and now I’m in isolation I have time to see if it can be fixed!! This doesn’t occur when using the iPad in notes or pages or anywhere else just Facebook.

does someone have the remedy please?

Ie, if I type cate instead of cat autocorrect replaces like this: cate cat (the incorrect word ‘cate’ is still there AND the correctly spelt word ‘cat’). This is particularly noticeable on Facebook. I get 2 spaces between words only on Facebook Trying to comment on a Facebook post but as you type you get 2 spaces between words? Only happens when replying to a post on Facebook and while using my iPad. Does anyone know how to fix this annoyance?

when i type letters to people, almost always it changes all the letters to q in the middle of the paragraph. I also notice it types out much slower at this time. Sometimes it does it a lot in the paragraph, but not always. I have an iPad Mini 4. So it looks something like this…” I told Julqqqqqqqqqqqqq “. It doesn’t stop until it either finishes the amount of letters I typed (like finishing the sentence)but most often I stop it by tapping elsewhere so the red dotted line appears under the word. Then I have to stop and fix the error. It’s so annoying. I already checked my settings and everything is right to the best of my knowledge.

FaceBook is not an Apple product, best you ask the app developer on their website/forum for support.

It’s how facebook codes their pages. I experience the same accessing facebook via safari.

Facebook needs to fix it....that said they’re not known for their responsiveness.
