Do Not Disturb reject Calls

Hi,

People are complaining about im rejecting their calls when i just have turned on the DND function.

i have 99,9% sure it didn't happen before, now im confused.

Even if the actual behavior (reject) is not a bug, i think is nonsense, because other people say im busy or rejected the call when i just want not be disturbed.

i searched bout this and i found many people saying that DND reject calls but also i found some that say it only silent the call in their own device

iPhone SE, iOS 13

DND will send calls directly to voicemail when enabled and your phone will not ring.

If callers are not being given the opportunity to leave a message, contact your carrier. Voicemail is a carrier feature.

For Thought:

Are these Being Blocked Out Somehow?

Try the following, and then remove them from being blocked out.

-------

A. Remove these Contacts from Being Blocked:

Go To: Contacts
Select: the contact
Scroll: to the bottom
Select: "Unblock this Caller"

And/Or...

B. Unblock them from a Third Party App

i don't want voicemail and that's not my point because to the other person who is calling its like you have the phone off

and silent the phone don't hide the call in screen and you have to wait until the call go off

my point is, you turn on DND and you can play with your phone without being disturbed and calls are just hide

and if we dont have voice mail activated?

this is nonsense, DND should only silent the call, not reject or redirect to voicemail

If you want to silence the call, use the mute switch.

Who doesn't have voice mail these days? What kind of Mickey Mouse cellular carrier do you have that doesn't have voice mail?
