Won't connect to external displays

Was this the delta update through the >System Preferences>software update

Try reinstalling the Combo update macOS 10.15.4 https://support.apple.com/kb/DL2037?locale=en_US

on top of your existing 10.15.4

There seem to be 3 solutions:

1) reset PRAM (reboot with CMD-P R pressed)

2) Reset SMC (left side of keyboard CTL-OPT) and right Shift for 7 second, then keeping power pressed for an additional 7 seconds

3) Roll back to 10.15.3 or

4 Wait for apple

Since you tried 1 and 2, I suppose you could try 3 or work without external monitor and do 4.
