iSight camera not working

Hi, i have problems using built-in iSight camera in my Mid-2010 MBP. Photo booth says that i have not connected camera, even tough in System Information > USB camera is connected. In safe mode iSight works normally.

MacBook Pro 13", macOS 10.13

Mac camera not working after trying several fixes Hello, I'm reaching out for help because ever since 3 months ago my MacBook's camera has not been working at all. I have tried several different fixes with the terminal and checking the camera tab in system status (it shows up), but nothing is fixing my issue. I was on the latest version of Ventura and I was hoping maybe updating to a beta version of Sonoma would do the trick, but unfortunately it did not do anything. Webcam only recognized when plugged directly in I have a logitech webcam. When I plug the cam into the MacMini directly, it works fine. When I plug it into a hub and then the hub is plugged into the Mac, it is not recognized. I have the hub plugged into a switch so that I can share the USB devices b/w computers. What I have tried: done in order Plugged and replugged the camera into the Mini directly: It works Moved the camera from the Mini port to a hub that I want to use: Doesn't work ran system_profiler SPUSBDataType: camera shows up reboot Mini while plugged into hub: it works toggle USB Hub b/w computers using the USB switch: camera doesn't work it seems that to get it to work through the hub I have to reboot then never touch it but that is not useful since I am sharing the camera. This seems like a bug in MacOS but wanted to ask here first Michael
