Office 365 for Mac book air

I just bought Word for Mac in Apple store. Windows can't convalidate Office 365 they say error 1001

ever since we updated our new software on our imac, "monteray" we are unable to use the apps, word, excel, powerpoint when we try to purchase the microsoft 365 office family pack, it says error, regardless of the valid email accounts we try, it continues to say error, and we cant update and purchase the microsoft office pack, and therefore cant use word excel powerpoint etc

Update error message I am unable to update Word as part of my Office 365 sub. All other Apps Excel, Powerpoint etc are being updated only Word running into some error trying to update.

problems wth office 36 all office 365 applications give me problems on my MacBook Air 2015. Should IU go to an Apple store or contact Microsoft?
