Recently purchased a new MacBook Pro. OS Catalina will not allow me to use devices like my white board, scanner, overhead projector, Adobe Acrobat, MS Office or other software. Do I need to go back to OS Mojave or an earlier OS?

Update your apps to Catalina compatible versions.
Unfortunately, no Mac can run an OS that predates the one it shipped with.
Find replacement apps.
I was told that it is possible to erase OS Catalina and install an earlier version.
Only on computers that came with a previous version of OS. If your model/year computer came with a previous version operating system you can revert. If it came with Catalina you can't go back.
There's a problem with that. Adobe and other manufacturers of software have not been upgraded to run on OS Catalina, so it's not available. Adobe said that it might be years or possibly never.
I'm going to try that. I've been trying to get info from MS, Adobe etc. That might help with those programs, but what about my white board, scanner, and overhead projector?

I read I on the internet. The article said that there was a file that had to be removed before it would be possible to install Mojave.
