Problems with legacy Java SE 6 runtime

I'm trying to run Logisim yet it tells me to install the legacy Java SE 6 runtime. I went to download the legacy and it says a newer version of this package is already installed. So I uninstalled java plugins then retried to download the legacy Java SE 6 runtime and it still told me the same message. When I checked the version of Java I have in terminal I got "java version "13.0.2" 2020-01-14

Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 13.0.2+8)

Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 13.0.2+8, mixed mode, sharing)"

I'm not too sure how to fix this, I've tried almost everything.

MacBook Pro 13", macOS 10.15

In Catalina, which requires 64-bit applications, the Legacy Java 6, and Java for OS X 2017-001 installers are no longer supported as they are 32-bit. If an application is specifically telling you to install Java SE 6, then it too is not supported on Catalina.
