AirPods don't appear on my bluetooth device list and won't even come up on my father's iPhone

I'm really frustrated I've tried everything I have the iphone 8 and I recently got airpods and they were working up until today. So I noticed my one airpod wasn't working so I looked up how to fix it and I disconnected the airpods from my phone and deleted it off my phone. When I went to reconnect it the airpods don't even appear on my bluetooth device list and won't even come up on my father's iphone. The light only flashes white doesn't give off the amber color distress. My airpods are 100% charged including the case so what is a solution because none of Apple's methods are working for this issue!!!
