AUX not working

I have the iPhone X and recently I found that when i plug my phone into the AUX cord in my car, my phone just keeps playing from its speakers. I know the cord works because he used it right after with the same phone and it worked. My phone does charge though. Just curious if this is a problem I can fix at home or would have to go to an Apple store.

AUX not working So I did not have this problem until I updated to IOS 15 yesterday. I use an aux cord in my car to listen to music and it has always worked fine. Well after updating my phone it doesn’t work anymore, it will say my phone is charging but won’t play music or sound through my car. Aux cable only works when half plugged in car I have bought my IPhone 11, 2 weeks ago and it was working fine in the aux in my car, one day the aux stopped working and today I discovered only when the aux is half plugged in my car. (so the cord is fully plugged in phone and half plugged in car). The aux was working fine before when I had an IPhone X. I headphones work fine, it’s only aux. Any suggestions why?

Audio won’t play when charging through USB My iPhone 11ProMax plays through my car speakers via Bluetooth usually, but today the music stops several seconds after plugging the phone into the USB port to charge while driving. The cable is an Apple cable. How can this be fixed?

dirt and lint in the connector of the phone can cause that and using a toothpick or match can clean it out
