Corrupt Backup Location

So basically 3 months ago I got a external disk to store my iPhone backups, after the long exhausting process of changing the location of the backup file to the external disk, I did one complete backup of my iPhone X. Last week I had to change to another external disk to to some complications, because of that I tried changing the backup location to the new external disk and it wouldn't allow me because I didn't have the old External Hard disk. Whenever I use a third party software to change it wouldn't work either, i need help in changing the backup location from an External disk (I don't have at hand) to a new one.

I don't have any experience with using the terminal but I can navigate macOS easily.

I have tried:

Using the terminal

downloading third party backup managers

deleting the backup folder

changing its location manually

renaming the backup folder

Solved!!!

well turns out the thing I should have done from the beginning is to delete the shortcut and restart my Mac, then the file path would change to the default one.
