I have the problem after upgrading to Catalina that I can't open my libraries (external disc).
1. "You don’t have permission to save the file “FFLibraryUpgradeLock” in the folder “iMovie Library“ / 2. "The library “iMovie Library“ could not be updated because an unexpected error occurred".
How can I solve this?

Try doing a control click on your external drive's icon, and then click on Get Info. In the dialogue box that appears, unlock the little lock icon at the bottom, and check the box at the bottom that says "Ignore ownership on this volume." See if that solves it.
If that doesn't cure it, do a control-click/Get Info on your computer's drive and your external drive and on your iMovie Library Icon, and make sure that the permissions match, i.e, all have "Read and Write" permissions.

What is “Custom Access” on the Videoarkiv” volume? It should be read/write. Also, what are the permissions on the iMovie library itself, versus the iMovie app? The library shoud be read/right as well.
I think you are at the point where you would benefit from talking with the techs at Apple Support. They are very savvy and have the capability to remotely access your computer, that we can’t do here. Click on the Contact Support item at the upper right hand corner of this forum’s screen. Navigate to a phone number where you can talk to a tech.
The issue you raise has been brought up before. So, if you have time would you post back with your results, as it may help others figure this out.

The "Ignore ownership on this volume" is not shown on my Mac (se attached screen shot). So I have not the possibility to do this. But I think there must be somethings quite similar (?). When I started iMovie after installing the Catalina I remember I had to answer some "yes" or "now". I think this maybe is what went wrong, that I denied some kind of permission to the external drive. So does the screen shot give you another clue to what might be the solution for my problem? Regards Ole

4. iMovie, "tick" on Removable Volumes and accept "Quit now".
5. Restart Mac

Hmmmm. My Security and Privacy pane does not display a Files and Folder item. I'm running Mojave, whereas I see that you are running Catalina. Perhaps that accounts for the difference.
