Several companies make USB-C to USB dual flash drives. Is it now possible with iOS 13.4 to do data and photo transfers using just the flash drive?
It would seem that this is now possible, but I can't find any reference to it in any apple support docs.
Most conventional flash drives will now work with iPad. You could go out to Youtube and see loads and loads of videos of drives that have been tried and reviewed before you buy one.

Thank you for your input. I'm trying to help my wife transfer files from her iPad to a device that uses a regular USB connector. My goal was to get her one device that could be used to connect to both devices.
You'll laugh- she has a Bernina embroidery sewing machine. It has worked to download files to her iPad (or MacBook Pro), and then use a cable to connect it to the standard USB port on the sewing machine. Just trying to make it as simple as possible for her.
Is there a technical spec on devices that can be used? I was looking at a SanDisk 16GB Ultra Dual Drive USB Type-C Flash Drive, but it mentions only Android devices. Seems like it should work.
What device is she wanting to send files to?
