My macbook wont connect to internet at times

My macbook will randomly disconnect from the wifi while I'm using it. When i try to reconnect back to the wifi it’s suits there for moment, then stops trying to connect. Occasionally it might come up with the wireless diagnostics interface but can’t do anything because it can’t connect to internet so can’t diagnose. In the past I’ve just waited about 5 minutes and it works fine but now its being stubborn and wont reconnect. Even if it works i want a solution to fix this one and for all or atleast an efficient method to stop it. Thanks. Any suggestions?

MacBook Pro 13", macOS 10.15

Go to system preferences>network

then under your wifi name make sure “auto connect to this wifi” is checked.
