cannot verify account with older ios

I have an iPod 4 that I'm trying to use. cannot verify my account using two code verification because i do not get a screen to enter the code on the iPod 4.


How can i set up this iPod on my current appleid?

Hello,


This sounds like it is related to Two-Factor Authentication. You will need to generate a secure code from another device and type it after your password. Example: password123456

I just went through this with an iPod Touch running 6.1.6.. It's actually much easier than I thought and I didn't have to turn off Two-Factor identification.

  1. Log into your iPod with your Apple ID and password as normal.
  2. Get the six-digit authentication code from one of your trusted devices associated with the Apple ID.
  3. Back on the iPod, it will ask you to log in again, but this time add the six-digit code at the end of the password. (Don’t put a space or anything else between the password or after the code.)
