I lost access to my Apple Watch

I have an Apple Watch series 3 and I just recently factory reset my iPhone. However I forgot about my watch and now I can’t get into my watch.

It’s asking for the passcode but I guess since I reset my iPhone, it doesn’t recognize the passcode I previously used, which is the same passcode I’ve always used.

Is there a way I can factory reset my watch and pair it to my phone again or are there some tricks involved.
