Trying not to lose Apple watch activity data after iPhone broken

Hello.

My iPhone is broken. I'm gonna bring it to a technician.

I'm afraid I'm gonna lose all my data.

I have my apple watch that was paired to this iPhone.

I was about to pair it with an old iPhone I have by reseting it, but then I thought..."Will i lose all my activity data by doing that!!!??"

After reading a while I see that if my iPhone didn't make a backup of the activity or the apple watch data, there is no way for me to get my apple watch data back.

My question is...how can I check which data I have backup or not?

Is there a website a service or something where I see my backup data in iCloud?

thanks!

Hi there, Dani!

Thanks for visiting the Apple Support Communities. I understand that since your iPhone requires repair, you've become concerned about your Apple Watch data, and what will happen if you pair it with another phone. I'm happy to help!

Your Apple Watch is automatically backed up to its companion iPhone. If you then back up your companion iPhone to iCloud or iTunes, the Apple Watch backup is also there. You cannot view the Apple Watch separately from the iPhone backup, and you cannot view the individual contents of the iPhone backup unless you restore it to an iOS device: Back up your Apple Watch - Apple Support.

What that means is that if you have an iCloud or iTunes backup of your broken iPhone prior to it becoming broken, you will have a backup of your Apple Watch as well. Restore the backup to your spare iPhone: Restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch from a backup - Apple Support, then pair your Apple Watch: Set up your Apple Watch - Apple Support.
