Iphone 4k 60fps, do i need to record in this?

Hi,

I'm filming Pilates classes to put on my website for pay per use. They need to be very good quality. I have been filming in 4k 60fps as this is highest quality on my iPhone then saving as 1080p. Do i need to film in 4k 60fps though or can i film using a different lesser setting and get the same 1080p quality that isn't blurry? My husband says 4k 60fps is only for slo mo shots which i'm not doing.

Any help would be appreciated.

iPhone 11, iOS 13

4K is very high quality video, and no not only for slow mos.

If you are down converting the 4K to 1080p, then no, you don't need to film in 4K.

You can film in 1080p from the start, and then you don't have to downconvert.

But unless filming in 4K is somehow causing an issue, there's also no problem in filming in 4K and then down converting.

Do whatever works for you the best. There's nothing that states you must film in one quality or another.
