when I send an email with my iPhone the recipient gets the email identified as “my name”; however, when I send an email with my iPad the recipient receives the email identified as “Comcast” . How do I fix that?

When you set up the account, you determine how it is going to reflect the sender. Go to Settings>Passwords & Accounts. Tap on the account in question, then on the next screen, tap on Account. On the next screen, and you should see an area that asks for your name at the top. That is the name that should appear when you send a mail. The page should show IMAP Account Information at the top, then a list of Name, Email, Description. Name is where you want to put your name.
