Hi,

Why are apple devices displaying the passwords in the clear text format under Setting ->Passwords & Accounts -> Website & App Passwords menu

Isn't a security hole?.

Above, you instruct us to go to the Security section of our AppleID account page, and select Edit. No such option for Edit exists on that page. Please advise. Thank you.

Isn't a security hole?.

When you signed in to the phone with your strong passcode and then used your Apple ID and password and possibly 2FA, you cleared security.
