Can't connect my Nintendo Switch to my iPhone 11's hotspot

All of my Apple devices and my non-Apple devices are able to connect to my iPhone's hotspot just fine. However, everytime I try to connect my Nintendo Switch to my iPhone hotspot, i always get an error message on the Switch. I've tried changing the passwords for my hotspot, and restated both devices, but neither of that helped. My iPhone is on a Verizon unlimited plan, and I use hotspot all the time, I just don't understand why my Nintendo Switch refuses to connect. The Switch is able to connect to other Wifi networks just fine.
