Media playback latency over wifi and bluetooth
Does anybody have a solution for media playback latency over wifi (1-2secs)/Bluetooth (<1 sec) on MacBook Pro (Early 2015)? I recently purchased a speaker that is Airplay 2 and Bluetooth enabled. When it comes to video playback, it starts out alright, however, further into the video or when commands such as play, or fast forward is being input, a picture and audio latency manifest. Its ruining the experience. I’m on the latest version of Catalina OS.
That being said, it plays perfectly fine on my iPhone Pro Max (with negligible latency observed).
These are the methods that I have adopted to attempt resolving the issue:
1) Installing the “Bluetooth developer tools” to enable AAC and APT X but it’s not helping the issue at all.
2) Reinstalling the OS.
3) Resetting the speaker to its factory setting.
4) Making sure that my devices are on wifi frequency of 5 GHz to prevent interference with Bluetooth transmission.
Any solutions??
