I upgraded my iMac to MacOS Catalina
Since I made this upgrade I can no longer use the scanner of my Canon printer MC5450. Therefore I should go back to Mac OS Mojave.
Is this Possible? And if so how do I have to handle?
Thanks for your assistance.

Sorry you are having these problems. VuScan is a pretty good program and should solve your problems. Make sure you have the latest download, though. I don't personally recommend going back to older version of your os. At some point, you will have to upgrade for a variety of reasons, so it's best to simply stay current. Question - since upgrading are any other apps giving you problems? Any older 32 bit apps will no longer function.
Try VueScan.
I downloaded Vuescan. When going to my download folder as requested I got the following answer :
Safari can't resume this download.
The file "vuex6497.dmg download" doesn't appear to be a valid download file.
So your suggestion did not solve my problem.
Thanks for additional suggestion.
