Notifications on iPhone and not Apple Watch

Is there a way to disable all notifications on my Watch while also receiving every and all notifications on my iPhone only? Currently, I figured out how to disable notifications on my watch but I haven't figured out how to enable notifications on my phone. My phone won't make noise, vibrate, nor will the screen illuminate when I receive a notification for something. This seems to be only due to the watch because when my watch battery dies or I'm not wearing the watch, then my phone will provide all the notifications normally.
