I thought I bought AppleCare for my iMac, but I figured out that I didn't buy it, so I would like to buy AppleCare for my Mac but when I put my iMac serial number, it said not eligible so I need to know why and also I would like to talk to someone regarding my iMac

You missed the window, bummer! When you buy a new Apple Device, if you want AppleCare you should buy it the same time that you buy the device. That practice prevents oversights like you are experiencing.
You can retroactively buy AppleCare within 60 days of purchase of your iMac. When did you originally purchase it?
Unfortunately it is more than 60 days old, I thought I bought it but I totally forgot about it.
