MacBook AppleCare Ineligibility

I purchased my MacBook Pro through a military base exchange and was looking to extend my AppleCare. However, when I put in my serial number to do so, the system tells me I am not eligible. Why is this?

Has it been less than 60 days since you purchased it? If so, you may want to contact Apple Support or try one fo the other methods below from AppleCare Products - Mac - Apple

How to buy

  1. Purchase AppleCare+ with your new Mac.
  2. Or buy it within 60 days of your Mac purchase:
    • Online (requires you to verify your serial number and run a remote diagnostic)
    • At an Apple Store (inspection of Mac and proof of purchase are required)
