Mail app sound is not working for new incoming email, if email is from VIP list, it will give sound but for other new email there no sound. I read few post on apple community but none of them worked. Anyone has any suggestion/solution for this issue?
Already tried following things but no luck:

The default tone for New Mail is 'None'.
Go to Settings > Mail > Notifications, and check notifications settings on each account you wish to receive the notification for and make sure 'Sound' is changed to something else than 'None'. These settings will override tone you have set for 'New Mail' in Settings > Sounds & Haptics.

I have already changed default New Mail sound tone but that did not help.
