Did Uber Eats bill me on Apple Pay without my double-click and FaceID?

It was my first time to use Uber Eats. When I placed an order, it didn't ask me to choose my payment method nor ask me to 'doule-click and FaceID' (if it's to proceed with Apple Pay). It just billed me on my default card on Apple Pay!

However,

• I have not set up any of my cards as Express Transit Card.
• There are two cards on my Apple Pay.

I know that it's not possible to remove Apple Pay from Uber or Uber Eats' payment methods. When I use Uber rides, I could choose which card to use. I wonder why the check-out for Uber Eats is different. More importantly, is it legit? I didn't authorize it, did I?

Worth to note that I have also saved the card (which was billed) in my Uber payment method. But as I said, I'm asked to choose a card when I use Uber app, but not in Uber Eats.

Did someone have a similar experience? How can I use the second card on my Apple Pay while in Uber Eats? I get 2% cash rebate with the second card on food, while 1% with my default card.
