This article (https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT210190) describes how to upgrade to MacOS Mojave but the link provided in the article (https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/macos-mojave/id1398502828?ls=1&mt=12) is not working. I click it and open via App Store on my Mac but nothing is happening. Any help?

Hello MusCW,

Thank you for reaching out in Apple Support Communities. I understand you're unable to update macOS Mojave in the App Store, as it's unresponsive.

Having the latest update on your Mac is important and I'll be happy to help.

Based on the link you provided, you're attempting to update macOS Mojave 10.14.6. You can attempt to download this specific version by visiting Apple's website at: Download macOS Mojave 10.14.6 Update

Please let me know if that helps.

Take care.

MusCW,

Thanks for getting back to us and for trying.

The version of macOS Mojave 10.14 is unavailable on Apple's website to download. However; you can attempt to download version 10.14.1 on Apple's website at: Download macOS Mojave 10.14.1 Update For future reference, you can review a list of the software that's available for macOS at: Downloads

If that doesn't help, please verify the year of your MacBook Pro.

Take care.

Hi alex_h1,

Unfortunately, 10.14.1 does not help as well. As todidoki also pointed out, all of 10.14.1 ... 10.14.6 are incremental updates for Mojave. What we need is the MacOS Mojave, which has the version number of 10.14

If the link (https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/macos-mojave/id1398502828?ls=1&mt=12) provided in the Apple Support article (https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT210190) would work, we would not have any problems actually. So we either need this link to work or we need a direct download link to the MacOS Mojave (version 10.14)

Oh, and my MacBook version is: MacBook Pro (13-inch, 2017, Two Thunderbolt 3 ports)

Thank you!

MusCW,

We appreciate the details. Since the App Store is unresponsive, when you attempt to download macOS Mojave. I recommend logging into another user account on your Mac. If you don't have another user account, you can create one. Here's a helpful article with the proper steps: Set up users, guests, and groups on Mac

From there, see if you can download macOS Mojave by visiting: How to upgrade to macOS Mojave

Kind regards.

alex_h1,

I am having the same problem as the original author of the post, MusCW. You have been suggesting links to the MacOS Mojave updates and not the actual installer. We are trying to download the actual MacOS Mojave installer. According to the support article, there's a link to the App Store for the MacOS Mojave installer. When I click on the link, the App Store opens but the MacOS Mojave installer does not show up.

The App Store link to the MacOS Mojave (https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/macos-mojave/id1398502828?ls=1&mt=12) is not working.
