phone number for 2 factor Authentication

hi everyone

my country local mobile number cannot be used for 2 factor Authentication of apple ID

so i was searching for solution and find out there are some international mobile operator like :

i wanna know if i can use this sim card number for my apple ID 2 factor Authentication ?

is it safe ?

some say these sim have virtual number and it can’t be used for some online service


i appreciate any information or any other idea to activating 2 factor !!

It’s really a pain having all apple devices but every time i get stuck because of this like sidecar 😑

See how to set up Two-factor authentication (2FA) for Apple ID https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204915 See this section especially Set up two-factor authentication for your Apple ID. From this section, "Two-factor authentication is available for Apple ID accounts with at least one device that's using the latest iOS, iPadOS, or macOS. I see no evidence that 2FA can't be used for some mobile mobile numbers If you're using iOS 10.3 or later. Still, there are cases where 2FA can't be used. You probably can use Two-Stop Verification instead. See Two-step verification for Apple ID https://discussions.apple.com/thread/251234546
