ios 13.4 lock/power button and assistive touch issue

Did you try: Settings / Display & Brightness / and turn off Raise to Wake. I haven't had it happen since then. I'd be curious of that works for you as well.

Which update are you referring to?

Ssame, toggled the assistive touch setting back and forth a bunch of times but it’s disappeared since I updated. As for the screen lock I have the same problem often sometimes I put the phone face down and after a few min it will go to the screen asking for pass code to unlock or have automatically locked itself and allow you to unlock like normal without having to restart every time . Anyone figure out how to get assistive touch working again???

Yup! I have this exact issue. I actually couldn't find much information- I have the 11 pro- I just got my device replaced today and it happened again shortly after I got home. The assistive touch feature as you mentioned does not work either. My phone will not lock unless I let it sit and lock on it's own. This happens 2-3 times throughout the day. If I restart my phone it resolves the issue- but it eventually will happen again at some point in the day. I'm hoping another update can resolve this! If anyone has more info I'd appreciate it.

I have the same issue here with an Iphone 11, even after updating to 13.6. The side button becomes unable to lock screen at times while it works fine to take a screenshot. Indeed, the problem goes away after pressing the volume buttons. Is it a bug and I have to wait to have it solved or do I need to ask for a replace? I have done hard reset several times but this did not solve the problem...

I’ve had the same problem with my phone since purchase last November. This is the first time I’ve been able to see someone with the same issue. I also posted this same issue this evening. No help so far. I hope someone can offer a fix.

I always leave mine on ... imagine my dismay when I did the latest update to 13.4.1 and the assistive touch home button disappeared!!! I checked settings and it’s supposedly selected but doesn’t show on the screen.

Cant imagine how much that would suck for someone who *really* needs it

My AssistiveTouch no longer works at all since iOS 13.4 (or maybe 13.4.1) on my iPhone SE. And every couple days, my phone becomes so slow that it stops responding, and I can't even restart it with the lock/power buttons.

Hi... assistive touch issue still persists...and I don’t have any issue with power button....

bug when lock the phone using assistive touch it turns on itself. but i can lock it normally with power button there is no issue with power button....

You're my hero! I haven't actually updated the software but the volume down button is making it work fine now!!! I think I'll just wait for 13.6 when it comes out.
