Ignore. There's actually nothing wrong with the profile. If you replace it directly from the macOS installer, you'll still get the same message. Here's what ColorSync Utility says about my installed profiles:

The utility loves to toss out anything that's a deprecated entry as an error. Doesn't mean the profile is bad, only that it contains old tags. Notice on a freshly installed copy of Catalina it says the same thing about ITU-2020.icc.

There's nothing that needs to be done. The profile comes that way directly from Apple and doesn't affect the its use at all.

Profiles contain all kinds of data. If you simply double click any profile, ColorSync Utility will open with it. You can then go through the various tags it shows. And that's not even all of them.

What the utility is complaining about are tags that are deprecated. That is, data that used to be necessary, but no longer is and so is considered outdated. But it also doesn't hurt anything for this unused data to be there.

As far as tips, that would literally take a book's worth of space to type out. I presume you're familiar with computers via Windows. If correct, you already know much of the basics. Installing, uninstalling and launching apps. Copying or moving files, blahblahblah. What takes a bit of time is learning the slightly different ways the Mac OS does some of this stuff, just as the Gnome GUI in Linux would be different yet again.

Probably the most useful page on Apple's site is where the keyboard shortcuts are. Otherwise, there are lots of nice sites to help a new Mac user learn to get around. Here's a couple:

https://www.makeuseof.com/tag/macos-beginners-guide/

https://www.macforbeginners.com/osx-guide/mac-os-x-introduction/

There is also the well know xxxx for Dummies series of books.

Kurt Lang knows more about Fonts than most anybody…

Awww, shucks! They're ICC color profiles, but I appreciate the thought. 🙂 Though I do know an awful lot about color management, too.

I'm good at tearing fonts apart from what I learned as part of a job I had at one print shop fixing the junk customers would send so they wouldn't bomb the RIP.

But on the other end, no one I know of knows more about font usage in apps than Tom Gewecke. His knowledge of keyboard layouts, languages and how those affect just about any language you could use on a computer is nothing short of astounding.
