disappearing text messages

On my iPhone 6, sometimes I see messages load, can read them quickly on my screen, and then they flash away. Other messages are stored. Any advice?

messages disappeared from ipad after ios 13.5.1 All my messages have disappeared from my ipad after updating to IOS 13.5.1. The messages are still on my iphone. I have tried switching off and on the imessages option in the messages settings but no joy. Any ideas?

Check the unknown senders tab on Messages
