Logging into to iCloud

Hello I have tried to log into my iCloud account as I want to access my old photos at a better quality, I’ve tried on both my phone and laptop to log in however it pops up with an error message “connection is bad” - I have been into setting to to try and see what my storage is on my iCloud and nothing loads. Can you help please

When I open the page to log in via the internet, it takes very long and I subsequently see this message on screen: "Connection Error. iCloud encountered an error while trying to connect to the server". Unable to connect to iCloud I am unable to retrieve my pictures from iCloud. I am also not able to log out iCloud from my device and unable to start backup as well.

Icloud issue Hello, I am having an issue logging into my original Icould account to remove all photos onto my external hard drive.

Restart both devices and try again. Try using different browsers as well.

I tired that already and again, even on safari however it still comes up with this
