Hi,
I have a brand new MacBook Pro (16 Inch) which ever since I got keeps randomly shutting down with Kernel panic errors. It has done this since the first day I opened it, I have attached said error. This happens whenever the machine is asleep (lid closed) and when I come to use it again it has to boot. Its unclear if it happens upon wakeup or not.
Does anyone know how I can fix this or is it a fault with the machine?

Kernel Panics are predominately caused by hardware faults or faulty third-party kernel extensions.

The USB driver was the last loaded extension. Try disconnecting all external devices. If this solves the problem, then try reconnecting them one at a time until you discover the device causing the Kernel Panic.
A few people are having this. It started with me when I upgraded to Catalina, on my 2014 MacBook Pro. I have also had it a couple of times on my 2019 i9 iMac when waking from sleep. There are a few threads about it. Take a look and see if they compare with your experience.
