You have to redeem the year offer first, and sign up for the service. It is not automatic.

Once you have the Apple TV+ subscription, then you can access all the available Apple Original content. iTunes Store movies and TV shows have to be payed for separately.

You will be billed for the ‘buy’ or ‘rent’ items, as these are not included in the Apple TV+ subscription. The Apple TV+ content doesn’t have buy or rent options or a per-item price.

To see an overview of just the Apple TV+ content in the Apple TV app,

• navigate to Watch Now﹥Available Apple TV Channels﹥Apple TV+﹥…

• or look for the ‘tv+’ logo in the artwork.

Amazon Prime Video has a separate app, for iPhone, iPad, or Apple TV set-top box, which you can download from the App Store on each device.

Amazon Prime Video content may appear it the Up Next queue of the Apple TV app, but viewing will be re-directed to that separate app automatically. Availability of supported apps in the Apple TV app - Apple Support

Buying or renting additional movie titles from Amazon is not supported in-app, but when adding such purchases to your Amazon account in different ways (e.g. web), then you can view those titles in the Amazon Prime Video app.
