How to force iCloud Drive to sync in Windows 10?

If you upload a new file on one Windows 10 machine, it doesn't always appear on another Windows 10 machine automatically (unless you reboot). Mac/iOS devices work fine, though.

Hello eobet,

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities! I understand from the information you provided that you’re having issues with files not updating in iCloud Drive on your PC; I'd like to help.

Let's first have you install any outstanding updates on your PC. If you still have issues, let's have you turn off iCloud Drive, wait for a while, and then turn it on again. After turning on iCloud Drive, try syncing another document to see if it's responding as expected.

Hope this helps.

Best Regards.
