iPod 5th generation connects to wifi but stopped connecting to internet

All my 'net-dependent apps suddenly stopped working. Are there tests or changes I should make to correct this? I have tried power on reset. (My older iPod and my iPhone continue to work fine with wifi, but I still use this iPod regularly for radio app connectivity.)

iPod, iOS 9

Hello,

Try resetting iPod touch’s network settings in Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings. Be certain you do not select Erase All Content and Settings as this will erase all of your information. It is a good idea to perform a backup of your iPod touch prior to resetting its settings.
