Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT
I use Google gmail with my Apple devices. I want to add a new email address for specific uses. If I follow Apple instructions will that create the gmail address, or do I have to create it in the gmail account first?

If you wish to create a new gmail address you'll have to create a new gmail account first.
Once you create the new email account, you can follow the instructions to add it to your iOS device. Settings > Passwords & Accounts > Add account and then tap Gmail.
