Open the Google Drive app on your phone. They will sync automatically. If you don’t have the Google Drive app you can get it from the app store.
Yes I did that and it works. But, here's the problem. I have 3 videos in my iPhone "pictures" and they won't upload to google drive. When it starts the upload to google drive, I get an error message saying "the upload failed please try again". Retries don't work. Any ideas what I can try?
I have used 29.6GB out of 100GB available space. I so appreciate your help. It only took me an hour to do the actual business videos. For God sake it's taking me hours to get them to a device for someone to use them. Ugh. Sorry I had to vent. :)
This is most likely a Google Drive issue; while I use it a lot, I haven’t seen this specific problem. I doubt that the videos are going to be over 70GB, but it’s possible. You have very little space in Google Drive. If you are going to use it routinely you might want to pay for the next step up, which is 1 TB for around $120/year. You might also want to try an alternative like dropbox or box.com. Or even Microsoft OneDrive.
Are you connected to WiFi?
I have my iPhone connected directly to my pc via usb cable. I do have WIFI available (and working ) here in my office.
It doesn’t matter whether or not you are connected to your PC. The sync to Google Photos is done directly from the Google Photos app on the phone, and the phone needs a Wi-Fi connection to do that.
The iPhone shows that it is connected to my WIFI.
