My new iPad Pro got synced to my old iPad when we turned on. It got my old iPads Apple ID. In addition, it does not recognise my Apple ID or password, so it doesn’t let me sign in or out. How can I resolve it. I want to change the ID as The iPad is for my kid and his homework.

The iPad is locked with Activation Lock. There is no way around unlocking Activation Lock without inserting the device’s associated Apple ID. If this is not an option you will have to find the original receipt for the device that clearly shows the serial number. Once you have this document you can have Apple unlock your iPad.
