Glad I found this post. I’ve spent a lot of time trying to troubleshoot this issue and thought it was my TV and apparently it’s an issue with Apple TV and YouTube. It seems to be only with music videos as I can watch other YouTube videos. I’ve done all the troubleshooting as others have. Very frustrating that Apple will not give an acceptable and helpful response.
It can’t be a YouTube issue as the videos that do not play on Apple TV still play okay on iPhone, with my same YouTube account.
It’s solely the Apple TV YouTube app that’s at fault.
This is a new issue in the last 2 days.
Fix it Apple.

Thanks the response Craig. I actually have been having this issue for several weeks. Reviewing YouTube community blog others have had the same issue even in other countries. YouTube has made it very difficult to contact them and surely they cannot ignore the hundreds of posts regarding this issue everyone has. Honestly do not care who fixes it it just needs to be fixed. :(
I should have added this in my initial post. YouTube (Google) states its an Apple issue. I guess these are 2 competing company's and getting a resolution is frustrating. Thanks.
