Gaming on Mac Air

Is Counter Strike global ofensive unhealthy for my Mac Air 13 inch 2017? I would like to play it a lot but I don't want to break my very expensive computer. Thanks a lot for your answer. Alex (thanks for those answers again a lot)

You can't break a Mac just by using it.

A MacBook Air wouldn't be my first choice for a gaming platform though. Not that you'll break it, but games just won't perform as well as they would on a Mac with a more capable GPU for example.

Sure it might slow down, but only while you're playing the game. Your MacBook Air will get warm and its fan will be blowing but that's normal and to be expected with any demanding task. You certainly can't hurt anything.

Asking about Mac performance in general on its community forum will probably elicit more informed replies: https://steamcommunity.com but if anyone alleges you'll hurt your Mac in any way, they're wrong. Don't pay them any attention.
