365 Outlook Have to Force Quit.

Downloaded 365 last week; outlook sometimes doesn't shut down, I have to Force Quit. After that it won't open again and I have to re-start iMac. Even that hangs up so I have to power down on the on / off button. Any advice?

Mail will not close which means I cannot restart of shutdown my iMac? I am using outlook on my iMac; there is also the mail icon which is a mirror image of my outlook; I cannot shut it down, it will not allow me to quit. Ive tried all the suggestions people have made and Ive even tried to turn off the PC to force a shutdown but still I cannot get mail to close. Any ideas?

Outlook app from App Store on Mac stuck on installing in the launch pad I tried downloading the outlook app from the App Store on my Mac book air and it is grayed out and says installing 949.6 MB of 949.6 MB. I cannot toggle the app and delete it. It won't go away. Tried to restart several times and it still did not go away.

Please contact Microsoft for support on their product. Office 365 works perfectly on my machine.
