Left side of my Apple EarPods not working

Hi everyone,

The left side of my EarPods have suddenly stopped working today. I have cleaned them according to the Apple guidelines and there appears to be no damage to any of the wires. I purchased these in August 2019. I have had the same issue happen with a previous set of EarPods and was able to take them into the store and have them replaced. Does anyone know what is happening with replacements during this time when stores are closed?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks!

A Few Thoughts on Personal Experiences:

Check the balance settings (if an option) on your device that you are using as the audio source. Also, just wiggle it around a bit in your ear.

As for a Second Replacement:

If you want to look into that, then I would go about doing so. You have a one-year out-of-the-box limited warranty.

Being that all Apple Stores are closed at the moment, if approved of, then Apple will ship you a box, and you would receive a new pair, should Apple make that call.

I’ve had my device looked into. They took it in, and replaced it. All of that was performed via mail (FedEX and UPS).

So, in Conclusion...
