apple music computer keeps asking me to authorise after i already have

MacBook Pro 15", macOS 10.15

Delete and redownload the songs which won't play; if you get told that you'll be charged again, click here and ask the iTunes Store staff for assistance.

To be more clear: in Apple Music on my Mac i am asked to authorise purchase to play a purchased piece of music, and I do. Then a window come up that says "this computer had perviously been authorized, it has been re-authorised." but when i click on music to play my computer asks to authorise the purchase again. ugh.
